How can I delete a Part Number in Smart145?

In order to delete a P/N, you need to have Admin rights and access the "Inventory Master" in the "Administration" Dashboard. After that, you just have to search for the Part Number to be deleted and click on the Delete button represented by a trash can icon.



Note that the part to be deleted can not be linked to any Work Order, Purchase Order, Sales Order, Repair Order or Inventory Templates; otherwise, the system will show you a message saying "The Part Number that you are trying to remove is being used".


This can be checked in the Bird View, Sales/ROs, Purchase History, WO Usage and Inventory Templates tabs from the Manage Inventory sub-module.


Once the P/N is unlinked from all orders and Inventory Templates, it will be possible to remove it from the Inventory Master.
