Mistakes can occur when issuing a part to a WO. Some common examples are:
1. Trying to issue a part that has no quantity in stock
It is not mandatory for a part to be in stock in order to request it for a WO. However, you won’t be able to issue it until there is available stock. Parts that cannot be issued will appear in gray when you attempt to issue them.
You can also verify this by checking directly in the WO Browser. Another option is to look for the part in the Manage Inventory Browser. 2. Issuing a part purchased for another WO
If you try to issue a part that was bought for another WO, the system will display a warning. However, it will still allow you to proceed with the reservation if you click "Yes".
Nevertheless, to maintain a seamless process and avoid confusion, it is not advisable to issue parts purchased for other WOs.
3. Issuing a part that doesn’t meet condition mapping requirements
If the available part’s condition does not match the conditions allowed by the Condition Mapping module, the system will prevent you from issuing it. This ensures that only parts meeting the correct criteria can be assigned to a WO.
Note: Only Support team members can modify the Condition Mapping. If you encounter a part that cannot be issued due to condition restrictions, please contact Support for assistance.
