To edit the quantity of a part in inventory, the user must ensure it is not in any of the following states:
- On Commit: The items have been reserved for a Work Order.
- On Repair: The items are on an Outside Service that hasn’t been received yet.
- On Order: The part was ordered via a Purchase Order and hasn’t been received.
- On WO Repair: The part has been set as the main part of an internal Work Order. (Note: this part will return to stock once the WO is closed.)
