How can I relocate a part in the Warehouse?

Just as you assign physical locations to parts in your warehouse when you receive them, parts are also assigned a location in the system when they are entered, such as during inventory check-in or when received through a Purchase Order (PO).


Please note that receipt details on a PO cannot be edited once the part has been received without reversing the process. If the part has already been reserved for a Work Order (WO), Repair Order (RO), or Sales Order (SO), you would need to reverse all associated processes before making changes. While this is possible, it is often easier to update or correct the information directly in Manage Inventory > Warehouse

To update a warehouse location:
  1. Go to Manage Inventory > Warehouse.
  2. Locate the line you want to edit by filtering with the Serial Number (SN), Purchase Order Number (PO), or Stock Number.
  3. Click Edit on the line.
  4. In the Location field, update the location as needed and save your changes.
