How Can I Change the Step Name Visible to My Customers?

Sometimes you may not want your customers to see the step names used internally for managing their work orders. To address this issue, we offer a feature that will allow you to modify the step names your customers see, ensuring that internal management terms remain private.

To do this, go to the Administration tab, navigate to the Work Order Step section, and edit the step you want to customize.
 



After that, find the Customer Denomination field, enter the name you want your customers to see, and Save


As an example, consider Work Order VM2020000445. Internally, the step is named "Receiving," but we set the Customer Denomination as "In Work." This is the name your customer will see.
