How can I link an Internal WO to its main part from inventory?

When creating an internal Work Order for one of your PNs in stock, it must be linked to the exact line of that part in inventory; otherwise, another line will be created and the general quantity in stock of that PN will be increased once the WO is closed.

For linking an item to an internal WO, you just need to click on the "i" button right beside the Part Number or the Serial Number options of the WO when you are creating or editing it and select the inventory line in question.

Once the part is properly linked and the internal WO is created, the quantity will be taken from "In Stock" and go to "On WO Repair" in the same line in which that part was entered into the inventory.

Note that when the internal WO is closed, the parts will return to inventory in another line, as they could've changed their price or condition as a consequence of certain work performed; while the original line will remain as a record of the process through which that part was entered into the inventory.
